The selected individual will assist with all operations of the equestrian facility including but not limited to building maintenance, landscaping, horse care and exercise, trail upkeep, and machine repair.
JOB
Responsibilities:
Assist in the maintenance of the equestrian facility including but not limited to raking the indoor and outdoor arena, building repair, moving and storing hay, cleaning and sweeping stalls, and fence repair.
Assist with boarding operations including but not limited to exercise and moving of horses, prescribed medicine administration, feeding, and cleanup.
Assist with grounds upkeep including but not limited to mowing, string trimming, landscaping, tree removal, weeding, and fertilizing.
Assist with other operations including but not limited to machine repair and preventative maintenance, waste and recycling collection, and snow removal.
Maintain yourself to the high standards set by Rich Harvest Farms in appearance, demeanor, and communicating with Members, guests, and other staff.
Assist with specified duties, meetings, and protocol as directed by superiors.
Adhere to local and state health and safety guidelines.
Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Work week is typically Monday through Friday (8) hours shifts but occasional weekends and holidays may be needed.
Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, kneeling, bending, lifting, and carrying items up to 50lbs without restriction.
Use hands to handle and feel objects, tools, and/or controls.
Must be able to work in close quarters and be exposed to hot, cold, wet, and/or humid conditions and work environmental factors including noise, dust, and smoke.
Must be able to work with boarded horses and additional animals at facility.
Must be able to work without direct supervision at times.
Must have a valid driver's license.
