Responsibilities:
3 years or more experience is required Develops and implements new or improved Quality systems and procedures for HFR.
Updates and maintains all quality documentation.
This includes control and maintenance of HFR policies, procedures, instructions and forms.
Conducts ongoing quality planning and improvement programs.
Works directly with all levels of organization to keep them informed of quality trends.
Provides reports and recommendations based on current or anticipated quality conditions.
Works with Operations Staff on new and process development, changes and concerns.
Works with sales and production departments on all issues that affect product quality.
Recommends and provides follow-up on all corrective actions required to permanently resolve quality problems including permanent resolution of customer concerns.
Leads efforts to conduct ongoing audits of all systems to ensure adherence to quality policies and procedures as well as customer specifications.
Directs and controls activities for all phases of the quality organization including Inspection, First Article Sampling, and Calibration.
Trains and counsels all quality personnel to develop their technical ability, product knowledge, and work ethics.
Fully knowledgeable on job requirements and performance expectations for the QA Manager position and all reporting positions.
Develop and maintain a continuous improvement program to better HFR's competitive position in the marketplace and ensure HFR products are as close to zero defects as practical.
Salary will be based on experience and skills.
