Member Retention Representative

We are looking for an individual who thrives in dynamic, production based call center environments. This is a hands-on position with strategic importance. Job Responsibilities

Receive inbound retention calls from current customers in a high intensity call center environment
Utilize proactive persuasive/retention skills to turn requests to cancel into save opportunities
Educate customers on membership features, offerings, billing and charges to retain customer
Acts with urgency to meet and resolve customers' needs and problems
Exercise creative negotiation skills to motivate customers to continue using service
Ensures customer issue follow-up is completed on time and accurately
Handles escalated issues and act as a role model in terms of Customer Service, follow-up, expectation setting with customers and closure of issues
Achieve monthly key performance metrics, individual production standards and team-based production standards
Makes fact-based decisions, but exercises creativity

Qualifications
1+ years experience in call center customer service, retention or sales
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational, reporting, data entry, time management, and follow-up skills required
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Call Center systems
Ability to connect with people, empathize with them and offer viable solutions to their concerns
Proven ability to make effective decisions
Ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines
Experience and ability to manage through rapid and dramatic changes
Flexibility in shifts/hours
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
Stable work history
Bilingual language skills a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
